2nd batch of AstraZeneca vaccines arrive
Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion welcomed the arrival on Friday of the second batch AstraZeneca vaccines bought by the private sector.
“The arrival of the second batch this August of AstraZeneca vaccines totaling to 1.15 [million] doses procured by the private sector is very timely, as we are aggressively rolling out vaccination efforts to help prevent the transmission of the Delta variant,” Concepcion said in a statement on Friday.
The first tranche also totaling 1.15 million doses arrived on July 16. —Roy Stephen C. Canivel
