One Hospital Command Center also handling non-COVID concerns
MANILA, Philippines — The public may also contact the One Hospital Command Center, the country’s COVID-19 referral facility, for non-COVID concerns like pregnant women going into labor and other health emergencies needing admission to a hospital.
“Hindi lang po puro COVID ang hinahawakan naming mga kaso,” One Hospital Command Center medical officer Marylaine Padlan said Friday in a televised briefing.
(We don’t exclusively handle COVID-19 cases.)
(We’ve also referred to hospitals mothers going into labor, those who suffered a heart attack, we’ve also handled patients who have psychiatric needs, injuries, fracture, we also help them find a hospital or health facility that may accommodate them.)
