Car thief suspect nabbed in Zambales – police

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — An alleged car thief in Subic town was arrested on Tuesday (Aug. 10) after almost seven months of hiding from authorities, police said.

Col. Romano Cardiño, police provincial director, identified the suspect as Arjay De Silva, 24, who was also tagged as one of the most wanted persons in Subic.

De Silva allegedly stole a motorcycle with a sidecar on January 29 and was the subject of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Roline Ginez-Jabalde of Regional Trial Court Branch 74 in Olongapo City.

The suspect was temporarily placed in the custody of the Subic municipal police station.
