36 more COVID-19 cases reported in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — At least 36 more residents of this province have tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday (Aug. 10), local health data showed.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said that among the latest to contract the virus are four government employees in Sta. Cruz town and four police officers assigned to different police stations in the province.

Most of the other new patients who are aged 17-87 are unemployed and had no travel history outside the province.

To date, the province has recorded a total of 4,600 cases since last year, 428 of these remained active while 4040 had recovered and 132 had died.
