MANILA, Philippines — The low pressure area (LPA) off Cagayan will bring scattered rains over Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported Tuesday.
In Pagasa’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought by the LPA, along with the southwest monsoon or locally known as “habagat.”
Pagasa monitored the LPA at 810 kilometers east of Calayan, Cagayan at 3 p.m.
Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Moreover, the country will have slight to moderate coastal waters or 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
