400 people in Leyte gather to urge Inday Sara to run for president in 2022

MATAG-OB, Leyte — About 400 people from this town joined a gathering on Sunday, calling on Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio to run for president in next year’s elections.

During the almost two hours program held in a private property located in Barangay Masaba, speakers appealed to Duterte-Carpio to run and replace her father, President Rodrigo Duterte.

“We have conducted this Sara Duterte for President movement because we believe that she is the most qualified to run for president and who will continue the legacy of her father, President Duterte,” said Bernie Tacoy who spearheaded the event./
