47,918 residents in Zambales fully vaccinated vs COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — At least 1,539 more residents here have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on Sunday (Aug. 8).

The new vaccine recipients pushed to 47,918 the number of fully inoculated residents in the city, local data showed. This represents 11 percent of the target population of Zambales.

Health workers have been administering AstraZeneca, Sinovac and the single-shot Janssen vaccine of Johnson & Johnson to its residents on the priority list.

Zambales needs to vaccinate 400,000 of its 590,800 residents to achieve herd immunity.
