33.5 percent of Central Luzon cops now fully inoculated vs COVID-19

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––At least 4,984 police officers in Central Luzon, comprising about 33.5 percent of the uniformed officers in the region, have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) health service said Sunday that 7,090 police officers in the region have also received their first dose of the vaccine.

Vaccines from AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Pfizer, Sinovac, and Sputnik V were administered to the policemen.

Police officers in Central Luzon include 12,785 under the PRO3, while the regional support units have 2,090 personnel.

Of the 4,984 fully vaccinated police personnel, 4,620 are from the PRO3, and 364 are from the regional support units.

Some 1,015 police officers received their first or complete vaccine doses from the PRO3 Medical and Dental Unit, while 7,314 got it from the local governments where they are assigned.
