Abandoned bag with P720,000 worth of marijuana bricks found in Kalinga

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan — Police in Kalinga province recovered an abandoned bag containing six marijuana bricks worth P720,000 in Rizal town on Thursday, August 5.

Col. Davy Vicente Limmong, Kalinga police director, said they received information that the contraband would be shipped to Cagayan province, prompting them to put up a checkpoint.

While monitoring, police found the abandoned backpack beside the road. No one was arrested. INQ
