TACLOBAN CITY — At least 100 market vendors availed of this city’s mobile vaccination drive on Friday, August 6.

City Mayor Alfred Romualdez said that with the rollout of the inoculation held on the second floor of the city public market building, he expects more residents of the city to receive the jabs without having to fall in line at the main vaccination centers.

The vendors, considered to be belonging to A4 or economic frontliners, received the Sinovac vaccines.

As of August 6, about 48,500 individuals from this city have received their first dose of the vaccine. At least 32,046 of them have been administered with the second dose.

The city government is encouraging the public to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
