Zambales posts 88% COVID-19 recovery rate
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — At least 18 patients in this province have recovered from COVID-19 on Thursday (Aug. 5), an official said.
According to Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, this figure pushed to 3,905 the total number of recoveries in the province, which recorded 4,431 COVID-19 cases since last year. This reflected an 88-percent recovery rate.
The province also recorded 30 new infections, raising the active cases to 404.
Its death toll related to COVID-19 remained at 122 as no new deaths were reported on the same day.
