15 women, minors, rescued from sex trafficking in Subic Freeport
Orlando Navallo, NBI-Olongapo director, said in a radio interview that the suspects, one of them a minor, were nabbed during an operation on two establishments.
Navallo said six of the rescued victims are also minors.
He said their office received information that the suspects were recruiting women and that their clients subjected them to sexual exploitation.
Three suspects face charges for human trafficking, while the minor suspect and victims were turned over to the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. INQ
