Former Sen. Trillanes’ mother passes away at 87

MANILA, Philippines — The mother of former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has passed away. She was 87.
“It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mrs. Estelita Fuentes Trillanes,” the former senator said on Twitter Friday, Aug. 6, which also happens to be his 50th birth anniversary.
“She died of complications due to her advanced Parkinson’s condition,” he added.
In his tweet, Trillanes shared a photo of what appears to be his Philippine Military Academy graduation, where he was accompanied by his parents and siblings.

He is a member of the “Marilag” Class of 1995.
