Cops arrest man over P500-worth 'shabu' in Leyte buy-bust

ORMOC CITY — A man in Leyte province is facing charges after he was arrested by policemen in a drug bust in Barangay Tambuco, Burauen town, Leyte on Tuesday, August 3.

Jefferson Capor, 22, allegedly the province’s top four drug personality, was caught after he sold a pack of shabu (methamphetamine) worth P500 to a poseur buyer.

He was also in possession of two grams of shabu worth P14,000.

The suspect refused to give any statement to the media.

Charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect who is temporarily detained at the Burauen Municipal Police Station.
