Zambales logs 27 new COVID-19 cases

2 Zambales kids die of dengue

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The province recorded 27 new COVID cases on Wednesday (Aug. 4), raising the total of active cases to 392.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the new patients are aged 9-83 years old.

They were added to the increasing number of COVID patients in the province, which now has a total of 4,401 infections.

On the same day, 21 new patients recovered from the viral disease, raising the number of recoveries to 3,887.

The COVID-19 death toll still stood at 122, local data showed.
