Alleged drug pusher nabbed in Puerto Princesa City

CITY OF CALAPAN––Police arrested an alleged drug pusher in a buy-bust operation Wednesday in Puerto Princesa City in Palawan province, according to a report from the Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) police.

Jeffrey Gacita, 31, of Barangay Sicsican, was arrested at 12:02 p.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) weighing about 0.60 grams valued at P4,080 in Barangay Sta. Monica to a poseur buyer.

Confiscated from him were the P3,000 buy-bust money and a cellphone.

The suspect is under police custody and faces charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, said the report.
