Drug group member nabbed in Camarines Norte

LEGAZPI CITY––Police arrested a high-value drug suspect in a search operation Wednesday in Vinzons town in Camarines Norte province.

Colonel Julius Guadamor, Camarines Norte police chief, said the police served the search warrant against Glenndel Morales, 46, at his residence in Barangay III Poblacion around 4:30 a.m.

Guadamor said Morales was a member of the “Rey Gutierrez Drug Group” operating in the province and was on the illegal drugs watch list in the Bicol region.

Recovered were seven sachets of shabu (crystal meth) worth P3,500.
The suspect was detained and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
