3 Pampanga cities log 99 new COVID-19 cases, 6 deaths
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––The three cities in this province recorded 99 new infections and six deaths due to COVID-19 complications Tuesday, Aug 3.
The Mabalacat government said its new fatalities include a resident of Barangay San Francisco and another of Barangay Santa Inez.
It also registered 14 new cases and 19 new recoveries, bringing its active ones to 312.
Of the total 4,415 COVID-19 cases here, 3,978 have recovered, while 125 have died.
In Angeles City, the fatalities include a resident of Barangay Cuayan and Barangay Malabanias.
The highly urbanized city recorded 25 new patients and 26 recoveries. Its active cases stood at 421.
Article continues after this advertisementIt registered 7,453 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 6,703 have recovered, while 329 have died.
Article continues after this advertisementThe new fatalities in San Fernando include a resident of Del Pilar village and another from Barangay San Agustin, bringing its death toll to 203.
The capital city registered 60 new cases and seven new recoveries on Tuesday.
It recorded 6,217 total cases since last year, of which 5,550 have recovered, while 464 remain active ones.
