Suspect drug pusher busted in Quezon province
LUCENA CITY––An alleged notorious drug pusher on the police watch list was arrested Wednesday in Infanta town in Quezon province.
The Infanta police, in a report, identified the suspect as Rico Peñaverde, 42.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Peñaverde after selling shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent in Barangay Comon around 12:30 a.m.

The suspect yielded three sachets of meth worth P6,120.

The police said reformed drug users and former clients of the suspect tipped them off on his illegal activities.
The suspect, now detained, faces charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
