SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Another 4.5-magnitude earthquake hit this province at 8:58 p.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 3), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The tectonic earthquake’s epicenter was located 29 kilometers northwest of San Felipe town. It had a depth of 10 km, the Phivolcs said in its bulletin.
Intensity 1 was reported in nearby Olongapo City and other parts of Zambales.
Earlier, at around 3:26 p.m, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake also struck the province. The epicenter was also located 38 km southwest of San Felipe. It had a depth of 18 km. INQ
