MANILA, Philippines — The Novaliches Cathedral has warned its parishioners not to entertain people who are selling vaccination booking forms.
“There are reports that some people (outsiders) are selling Vaccination Booking Forms in the Cathedral. We do not support this,” the Novaliches Cathedral said in a statement on its Facebook page.
The Novaliches Cathedral is being used as a COVID-19 vaccination site after the Diocese of Novaliches partnered with the Quezon City government and the private sector.
Under the agreement, the Novaliches Diocese will provide the venue, facility, and manpower through its parishes within its jurisdiction and volunteers for the vaccine rollout.
Following the reports, the Novaliches Cathedral (Parish of the Good Shepherd) created its own online vaccination booking system.
Those who have submitted booking forms prior to the announcement, however, no longer need to submit another booking form, according to the cathedral.
“Beware of opportunists,” the cathedral added.
