45,250 Angeles City residents now fully vaccinated vs COVID-19

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—Some 45,250 residents in Angeles City have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the city government announced Monday, Aug. 2.

The fully vaccinated individuals include 5,117 health workers and medical frontliners belonging to the A1 priority group; 16,358 elderly under A2; 12,036 persons with comorbidities under A3; and 11,739 frontline personnel in essential sectors under A4, it said.

The city government said 82,276 have also received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccines.

It said 60,784 total doses of Sinovac’s CoronaVac; 28,891 doses of AstraZeneca; 18,585 doses of Pfizer; and 9,633 doses of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccines were used.

The city also conducts home vaccination for bedridden and those aged 80 years old and above who could not go to the vaccination sites.
