Alleged drug pusher nabbed in Oriental Mindoro buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN––Police arrested on Monday an alleged drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in San Teodoro town in Oriental Mindoro province, according to a report from the Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan) police.

Rheymar Labitan, 40, a vendor, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in exchange for P500 to a poseur buyer in Barangay Calangatan.

Also confiscated from the suspect were two sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 0.29 grams valued at P1,972.

The suspect is now under police custody and faces charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
