TUGUEGARAO CITY—Authorities seized P1.3-million worth of dried marijuana leaves at a hotel in Tabuk, Kalinga, police said on Sunday.

Lt Col. Andree Michelle Abella, Cagayan Valley regional police spokesperson, said two suspects, identified as Cindy Paclay-Addawi, 38, and Saldy Wasigan, 28, both from Tabuk City, were also arrested after they reportedly sold the contraband to an undercover agent inside the hotel on Friday.

The seized items include dried marijuana leaves in 10 rectangular containers weighing 11 kilos, a mobile phone, a motorcycle, and marked peso bills.

Addawi and Pasigan were charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
