MANILA, Philippines — The total number of COVID-19 infections in the country’s police force has risen to 30,524, after 96 new cases were recorded on Sunday.
According to the Philippine National Police Health Service, the police force currently has 1,211 active cases and 29,229 recoveries (29 new recoveries), as of August 1, 2021.
No new deaths were reported. The death toll stands at 84.
As of July 31, 2021, a total 43,532 or 19.86 percent of PNP personnel are fully vaccinated while 48,993 others have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Meanwhile, health experts reported the total number of infections in the country as of July 31 has reached 1,588,965 cases (60,887 active infections, 1,500,189 recoveries and 27,889 deaths.)
