Another 1 million doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine arrive in PH
MANILA, Philippines — One million more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Sinovac were delivered to the Philippines on Friday.
The latest batch of jabs arrived at around 7:40 a.m. via a Cebu Pacific flight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the National Task Force against COVID-19 said.
Health Secretary Francisco Duque III welcomed the arrival of the latest vaccine shipment.
On Thursday, 1.5 million doses of the same vaccine brand were also delivered to the country.
With the most recent delivery, the Philippines has received over 33.8 million COVID-19 vaccine doses since February.
