MANILA, Philippines — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested on Wednesday a suspected drug pusher in Quezon City and seized 500 grams of crystal meth, locally known as shabu.

PDEA’s initial report identified the suspect as Geraldo Menard, a 42-years-old tricycle driver who lives in Barangay Santa Ana, Pateros.

The suspect was arrested at 6:40 p.m. on the northbound side of Edsa in front of a canvas and upholstery supply store in Cubao.

Authorities confiscated from the suspect a transparent ziplock plastic pouch containing the meth, the P1,000 buy-bust money, and his identification card.
