Cebu City Science High to hold entrance exam

THE Cebu City National Science High School in barangay Labangon, Cebu City, will hold its entrance examination on Feb. 25 to screen applicants for the incoming school year.

All graduating pupils from the public and private elementary schools are qualified to take the tests provided that their grades in the first, second and third grading periods are 85 percent and above in English, Mathematics and Science and 83 percent and above in all the other subjects.

Graduating pupils from the Special Science Elementary Schools, Cebu City Division are qualified to take the tests provided that their grades are 80 percent and above in all subjects in the grading periods available.

A certification from the school principal that they belong to the upper 10 percent of the graduating class is required.

Applicants need to submit a photocopy of the report card certified by the school principal and a testing fee of P150 to cover the miscellaneous expenses. The deadline for submission of requirements is on Feb. 21.
