SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—At least 2,715 more people in the province have been fully vaccinated against SARS Cov2, the virus that causes COVID-19, as local government units continued conducting mass vaccination for residents on priority lists.

As of Tuesday (July 26,) a total of 21,738 residents had been fully vaccinated, including 1,421 recipients of the single-dose Janssen vaccine of Johnson & Johnson.

The remaining 20,317 received complete doses of other brands of vaccines (15,367 received the CoronaVac and 4,950 received the  AstraZeneca).

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said a total of 60,150 doses of vaccines have already been administered.

So far, the number of fully vaccinated residents in Zambales represents five percent of the target population.
