Zambales reports 7 more COVID-19 deaths

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––Seven more patients died Tuesday of COVID-19 in this province, raising the total death toll to 116.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said five of the latest fatalities were aged 61 to 78 years old, while two were in their 50s.

Bueno also reported on the same day nine new patients and 35 recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the active cases to 392.

The province had recorded at least 4,186 confirmed cases since last year, 3,678 of which had recovered.
