Man nabbed in Calapan buy-bust
CITY OF CALAPAN—A man was arrested Monday, July 26, in a buy-bust operation in this city in Oriental Mindoro province, according to a report from the provincial police Tuesday.
Police arrested Michael Mateo, 33, at 8:25 p.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) for P500 to a poseur buyer in Barangay Bayanan 2.
Also confiscated from the suspect were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 1.08 grams worth P7,344.
The suspect is now under police custody and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
