MANILA, Philippines — Some family members of President Rodrigo Duterte have arrived at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City on Monday to personally witness his final State of the Nation Address (Sona).

Only House Deputy Speaker Paolo Duterte, accompanied by his family, and President’s common law wife Cielito “Honeylet” Avanceña attended the President’s final Sona physically.

Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio decided to skip her father’s final Sona.

Meanwhile, Duterte’s other son, Davao city vice mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, was recently afflicted with COVID-19.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque earlier said he has no information whether Duterte and Baste had any close contact since the latter got infected with the coronavirus.
