SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––Despite the heavy rains, the provincial government on Friday began administering the Janssen COVID-19 vaccines made by Johnson & Johnson.
The province received on Thursday a total of 3,800 vials or 19,900 doses of the Janssen vaccines donated by the US government, Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said in a phone interview.
Bueno said the province had administered 14,593 Astrazeneca vaccines and 21,510 Sinovac vaccines to its 36,103 residents.
As of Thursday, July 22, the province reported 4,058 COVID-19 cases, 384 active cases, 3,548 recoveries, and 109 deaths. INQ
