Rojas said the lucky bettor was a 49-year-old married woman with two children from Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Her jackpot winnings came to a total of P37.38 million.

“She started betting on the lotto less than a year ago and she only placed bets when the jackpot was big. She betted P60 on the birthdays of her family members,” Rojas said.

Apparently, her gamble paid off as the numbers she picked—28-25-12-7-3-14—were the ones which came up in the Feb. 9 draw. She shared the total jackpot of P74.76 million with one other winner.
