P476K ‘shabu’ seized from 3 drug suspects in Catanduanes

LEGAZPI CITY––Three suspected drug pushers were arrested Wednesday while P476,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) were seized in a buy-bust operation in Catanduanes capital Virac town.

Major Antonio Perez, Virac police chief, reported that Aiz, 34; her boyfriend Men-men, 29; and Kalag, 46, a tricycle driver, were arrested at around 10 p.m. in Barangay Palnab del Norte.


Aiz and Kalag were on the illegal drugs watch list of the province, the report said.

The police found close to half a million pesos worth of shabu in 22 sachets containing a total of 70 grams, the report added.
