PH coronavirus death toll tops 10,000 as 64 more dieANGELES CITY, Pampanga––Four more residents in this city have lost their battle against COVID-19, the city government announced on Monday, July 19.

The city government said the latest fatalities are two residents from Barangay Malabanias, one from Barangay Pampang, and another from Sto. Cristo.

The city has recorded 311 deaths since the pandemic began last year.

So far, 7,039 residents here had contracted COVID-19. Of these, 6,385 had recovered from the viral disease, while 343 remained active.

The city government also registered 34 new cases and 46 recoveries on Monday.

Barangay Margot has the most active cases at 30, followed by
Barangay Balibago with 25, and Pampang and Tabun villages with 21 each.

Meanwhile, the City of San Fernando registered four new COVID-19 cases and one death on Monday.

The Pampanga capital city’s government said the new fatality was a resident of Barangay San Jose.

San Fernando recorded 5,781 cases since the pandemic began last year, of which 5,264 had recovered, 193 had died, and 324 remain active. INQ
