27 new COVID-19 cases reported in Zambales
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—At least 27 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday in this province, raising its total active patients to 439.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the new patients are workers in Olongapo City, Subic Bay Freeport, and Pampanga province.
Bueno said some of them are nurses, police officers, and drivers.
The others are a teacher, government worker, field technician, customs clearance agent, government worker, and security guard.
Bueno also reported that 16 more patients have recovered from the disease, pushing the total recoveries in the province to 3,414, while the death toll stood at 95.
Zambales logged 3,948 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic started last year.
