Briones: Blended learning to continue
MANILA, Philippines — Blended learning will continue in public schools during the next school year despite hiccups in its implementation in academic year 2020-2021.
The school year is set to open on Sept. 13 after President Duterte approved this date and is scheduled to end on June 24, 2022.
“If we start classes on Sept. 13, we cannot put the children’s lives in danger so we are still pushing through with blended learning … The conduct of [in-person] classes depends on the result of the pilot study,” Education Secretary Leonor Briones said.
