LUCENA CITY—Police arrested on Sunday an Indian national in San Mateo town in Rizal province after he allegedly threatened his former girlfriend to post their sex video on the internet if she refused to see him again.
The Calabarzon police reported Monday that the victim went to their headquarter around 10:30 p.m. and filed a complaint against Gurmet Singh, alias “Tony Kasel.”
The victim said after their breakup, Singh had been threatening her that if she refused to have sex with him, he would upload their sex videos on social media.
The suspect also allegedly warned that he would kill her children if she did not obey him.
The police arrested Singh in an entrapment operation inside a fast food joint in Antipolo after the victim agreed to meet him.
Authorities also seized Singh’s mobile phone to be subjected to digital forensic examination.
The suspect was detained while criminal charges are being prepared against him.
