4 drug suspects nabbed in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Four drug suspects were arrested during separate buy-bust operations in this province.

Col. Romano Cardiño, provincial police director, said Monday, July 19, that suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth around P32,500 were seized from the suspects during the operations on Sunday.

Suspects Rose Evangelista, Kayzell Estabaya, Gregorio Arcoles, and Mark Francis Pillo were on the province’s drugs watch list, the police said.

Confiscated from them were 16 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing about five grams and the marked money.

The suspects were detained and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
