Zambales reports 43 new COVID-19 cases
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Forty-three new COVID-19 cases were registered in this province on Friday.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said most of the new patients, aged 6 to 90, have no history of travel but were exposed to an infected patient or have existing ailments.
Among new cases were three health workers, a police officer, a government worker, four public school workers, and three businessmen.
The latest data showed that 33 of the patients already recovered from the disease on the same day, bringing the total recoveries in the province to 3,364 while the death toll remained at 95.
The province has so far logged a total of 3,848 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic broke out last year.
