Bohol death toll due to COVID-19 breaches 100-mark

TAGBILARAN CITY—The COVID-19 death toll in Bohol province breached the 100-mark on Friday, July 16.

In its case bulletin, the provincial government reported that the new deaths brought the fatalities due to COVID-19 to 116.

Bohol also recorded 13 new COVID-19 patients, bringing the active cases to 1,039.

Last week, the provincial government reported six cases of the different COVID-19 variants: Alpha or United Kingdom (B.1.1.7), Beta or South Africa (B.1.351), and Theta (P.3) transmissible variant cases.
