2 dead in car accident in Bataan
MANILA, Philippines – Two people died while four others were wounded in a vehicular accident in Bataan, police said Wednesday.
Superintendent Melecio Buslig, Balanga City, Bataan chief of police, said that Armando Calma was driving the maroon Honda Civic (RGX 358) with his five passengers along Roman Highway in Barangay (village) Munting Batangas in Balanga City, Bataan around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when “the car swerved to the left and bumped the concrete pillar of the main gate of Elizabeth Subdivision.”
He said that Calma and Tristan Jay Cruz, who was seated on the front passenger seat, were declared dead on arrival at the Bataan General Hospital. Juan de Junco, Joey Cruz, Sheena Cruz, and another still unidentified victim, who were all seated at the back, were rushed to the same hospital for treatment.
Buslig said that further investigation were being conducted on the incident.
