ORMOC CITY — A missing fisherman was found dead on board his motorbanca at about 7:20 a.m. in Sitio Bagacay, Barangay 5, Capul town, Northern Samar on Wednesday.
The body of Edwin Centino Sr. was claimed by his son, according to Police Staff Sergeant Jerome Garcera, the case investigator.
Centino reportedly went fishing at dawn on Monday, July 12, but failed to return home that day.
Garcera disclosed that the municipal health officer of Capul town, who conducted a post mortem examination on the victim, said Centino died of natural causes.
The victim’s body was immediately brought by his family back to Calbayog City.
