SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Two personnel of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) have contracted COVID-19 while seven others have recovered from the viral disease, local data showed on Wednesday (July 14).
According to the health service of PRO3, the two new infections were among the 1,833 COVID-19 cases that the Philippine National Police recorded in Central Luzon since last year.
PRO3’s active cases rose to 53 on Wednesday, the same data showed.
But the number of recoveries has already climbed to 1,775, reflecting a 96-percent recovery rate among the PRO3 workforce, including non-uniformed personnel.
No deaths were logged on the same day, which kept the PRO3’s COVID-19 death toll at five.
