Cagayan province logs 120 new COVID-19 cases
TUGUEGARAO CITY—The Cagayan Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit has recorded 120 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday (July 14).
Claveria town posted the highest number of new cases at 22, raising its active ones to 170. Tuguegarao City has additional 19 infections, and Solana has 15 new patients.
Two COVID-19-related deaths were reported in the province, with one each in Claveria and Lal-lo.
The local government of Claveria has carried out an aggressive mass testing since Monday to determine the extent of the virus infection.
Cagayan has listed 18,627 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic started last year. At least 17,008 had recovered from the viral disease in the province, including the 111 patients healed on Wednesday.
