BAGUIO CITY – A man in Abra province allegedly killed his neighbor after a heated argument Monday over the suspect’s missing goat, the police said.
Investigators identified the suspect as Bobby “Bobot” Baro of Barangay Calao in Bucay town, while the slain victim was Alexander Molina.
The police said Baro found out that his domesticated goat was missing and confronted Molina, blaming the victim’s dog for driving the goat away.
During their verbal tussle, Baro allegedly shot Molina, who suffered a fatal bullet wound on his upper right back that exited through his left chest.
Molina was taken to the Abra provincial hospital for treatment but he was declared dead on arrival.
The Scene of the Crime operatives recovered two deformed pellets and one spent shell from a 12-gauge shotgun from the crime scene.
The suspect fled, but the police immediately captured him. He will face murder charges. INQ
