DOH: 3.5 million fully vaccinated vs COVID-19 in PH
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday reported that 3.5 million individuals in the country have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
In a televised briefing, the Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje said the 3.5 million figure is out of the 9.6 million people who received their first dose of the vaccine.
“Out of the 13.1 million na nabakuna, 9.6 million na po ang first dose at 3.5 million ang second dose,” said Cabotaje, who is also the chief of the National Vaccination Operations Center.
(Out of the 13.1 million doses administered, 9.6 million were given as the first dose and 3.5 million were given as the second dose.)
Cabotaje said 1.1 million of the target 1.6 million health workers have likewise been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The most recent arrival was 132,300 doses from Russia’s Sputnik V.
More than 2 million doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 jabs donated by the World Health Organization-led COVAX facility were also delivered last week.
