MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over the Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, and the province of Aurora on Monday, due to easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
(Due to the easterlies, there will be cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the Bicol region and Aurora.)
(Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will also prevail in Eastern Visayas. This is because of the easterlies.)
Meanwhile, the rest of the country may see fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies, according to Mendoza.
He added, however, that isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may still occur especially in the afternoon or evening.
Mendoza said no weather disturbance will affect the country within the next two to three days.
