Tarlac’s active COVID-19 cases drops to 822 from over 1000

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Tarlac’s active COVID-19 cases dropped from 1,160 to only 822, or a difference of 338, in a week, based on provincial government statistics.

The total number of recoveries is at 7,381, while the death toll rose from 375 on July 3 to 380 on July 10.

A total of 555 patients have recovered from COVID-19 within a week while only 210 new cases were registered in the same period.

Also on Saturday, 15 new COVID-19 cases were recorded which include eight residents of the capital Tarlac City, three from Camiling town, two residents of Gerona, and one each from Bamban and Concepcion towns.

The new cases also include a one-year-old female from Camiling with a history of exposure to a COVID-19 patient and a five-year-old male without known exposure to any person infected with the viral disease.

Tarlac City has the most number of active cases at 205, followed by Capas with 89 active cases, and Concepcion with 45 active cases.
